Scholarship requirements:
• You are in good academic standing
• You have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 for all courses taken at NCC
• You are a full-time student
• You are a woman of African ancestry
• You have completed at least two semesters at NCC
• You have completed at least 24 credits at NCC
• You have completed at least 3 academic credits in Africana Studies
• You must submit a (4) paragraph double-spaced titles essay outlining your college and professional goals and how Africana Studies has influenced these aspirations

  1. Upload an essay outlining your college and professional goals and how Africana Studies has influenced these aspirations.
  2. Your essay should be 4 paragraphs with a title and the following settings: double-spaced, 12-point Times New Roman font, and one-inch margins. A substantially longer or shorter essay may adversely affect your rating.
