Scholarship requirements:

• You are a full-time student
• You are in good academic standing
• You have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 for all courses taken at NCC
• You have completed at least 30 GPA credits at NCC
• You intend to continue at NCC for the Spring 2025 semester
• You are a physically challenged student
• You must submit an essay describing your educational and personal accomplishments and your career goals. Describe how you are physically challenged

Scholarship is renewable* – $500 per semester for 2 consecutive semesters for a total of $1,000* – provided the student maintains the above criteria

  1. Additional Information:
    • Are you a physically challenged student? ** Physically challenged persons are considered to be in one of (but not limited to) the following categories: blind or visually impaired, deaf or hearing impaired, amputee, cerebral palsy, spinal cord injury, etc. However, learning disabilities do not constitute eligibility for the Matthew Good Memorial Scholarship.
    • If yes, please describe the nature of your physical challenge:
  2. Upload a 500 word essay describing your educational and personal accomplishments and your career goals. Describe how you are physically challenged.
  3. Your essay should be 1 page with the following settings: double-spaced, 12-point Times New Roman font and one-inch margins. A substantially longer or shorter essay may adversely affect your rating.
  4. This is a scholarship application; spelling and grammar are important. Be sure that the essay is clear and concise.
  5. Your essay must address the given topic above and include your name and the scholarship you’re applying for, at the top of the page..
  6. The file uploaded must be a .doc, .docx, or .pdf file. Evaluators are only able to open and read files of this type so any other file type submitted will result in a low rating of the overall application.
