After graduating from Nassau, Michael held a position walking horses as well as assisted the media department at Belmont Park, a registered locality of the New York Racing Association, Inc.
He then went on to work in the mailroom at the NPD Group in Port Washington for eight years.
Michael then returned to Nassau Community College and now works in the mailroom as a mail messenger. He also volunteers assisting NCC Athletics with sports information. Michael is also a freelance sports writer who covers horse racing as well as pro and college sports.
“I really enjoyed my experience as a student here at NCC. My professors and advisors really guided me during my time as a student. I am also glad to be back as an employee helping out the campus community.”
Michael is very honored that his scholarship will help a Nassau Community College student who has either a physical or learning disability and is pursuing a degree in Communications, Physical Education, or Psychology.
